Hello all. I have a question (again) regarding spray booth designs.
I know that you need a spark proof fan in order to exhaust volatile fumes.
However, would it be possible to have a fan mounted (old furnace blower) so that it pushes the air through the bootch instead of having to suck it out? In this way, the fumes would not be 'touching' the fan, so to speak.
I was thinking of building a booth (cross draft) that would be like this: fan on outer wall/ inner wall full of filtres / spray area / wall of filtres / exhaust port to outside.
Is this viable? I am thinking of startin with KTM-9 so really the bomb proof issue is not eminent. I might want to try McFaddens later on,though.
Thanks in advance. Regards.
